The Athens Business Club 2004 has initiated a new service that identifies Greek companies active in the global marketplace. Hellenic Global Players lists more than 250 Greek companies and more than 900 of their affiliates in markets throughout the world—in North and South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.
Hellenic Global Players is designed to facilitate electronic networking so that businesspeople anywhere in the world may easily identify potential business partners from Greece.
The service, which is now available at the Club’s website for members only, has been developed by the Hellenic Center for Investment (ELKE), and presents the international investment activities of Greek companies by sector or country. In cooperation with the Athens Stock Exchange, Hellenic Global Players will provide a continuous flow of information about new investment ventures by Greek companies globally.
Hellenic Global Players will remain active after the 2004 Olympic Games and will become an integral part of ELKE's platform of services to match investors from around the world with Greek companies.
The service is updated regularly and will expand as more Greek companies become listed on the data base.
